Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP’s) and Physiotherapists (Physio’s) have completed a minimum 3-year University degree and are the only professionals who are properly trained and truly qualified to prescribe exercise programs.

There are many “personalities and social media identities” that offer exercise programs that do not have these qualifications. They are generally Personal Trainers who may have completed a short Personal Training course.

They do not provide an initial professional consultation to properly assess your current health condition and fitness goals and are legally required to refer anyone with a Chronic Disease, Illness or Injury to an AEP or Physio for assessment.

They generally provide a “one size fits all” exercise program that is not specifically tailored to suit the individual.AEP’s and Physio’s assess patients and design individually tailored Exercise Programs to suit.
